Zoom Zoom

Here is a picture of me riding T's four wheeler, s is on the back. I was zooming up a little hill we found. It's was great fun... s was belly-aching because he had to ride with me, I'm apparently too slow. I showed him and he ended up having a good time, even if I am his Mom. We took TS out four-wheeling before she had to go back to Texas.

Sam had a field trip yesterday to the Discovery Center and the Zoo in Boise. Great time was had by all...

Just a little story for you about the power of prayer... The day before the long awaited field trip, s came to my room after school instead of walking home. He was complaining that his "brain hurt" and he couldn't possibly walk all the way home. So he stayed and waited until I finished my work, when we got home I gave him some allergy medicine. He begged TS to play Ninetendo with him, after a little while we needed to go to the library. He did not want the go and stayed home. When we got back 30- 40 minutes later he wasn't doing anything, just laying on the couch. He had a high fever and just wanted to do nothing, very unusual for him. As the night progressed he just went to bed with a temp of 102.6. He was very upset at the thought that he might not be able to go on the field trip, they only have one a year and he did not want to miss it. We prayed and prayed that he would feel better and be able to go. All throughout the night I kept checking his temp... 101.9 at 12:30 am, 102.0 at 2 am, ,104.0 at 4 am. I was so worried, he did not have any other symtoms. He had been complaining of stomache aches, but didn't have one then, and after everything that happened last summer with his appendex...ahhhh. Well he woke up at 6 am and said, "Lets get up early and make my lunch Mom" He was fine, his temp was 98.0, and he felt great. He has been fine since too. I still keeping a close eye on him, that boy is going to give me ulcers.

We are still counting our blessings... so thankful for healthy and happy kids.
