Vison of Loveliness

Here is a lovely picture of my little brother, OK younger brother. He sent this to me on Halloween night, and the e-mail said. Aren't you glad that this didn't knock on your door.
I was reading a friends blog the other day, it had an blerb about what to get for your husband for Valentine's Day, and how it's impossible to find something that he will really like. It either has to be a big ticket item, or he won't really like it. Well T's birthday is just a few days later on top of the Valentine's Day thing. What to do, what to do.... He keeps telling me not to do anything for him. That doesn't help at all.
Valentine's Day, I always do everything, I force him to take me on a date, I find a babysitter, I drop hint after hint about what I want. Not this year, I'm not saying anything. I'm tired of forcing him. I guess it's not forcing him, but I just make it to easy for him, and he gets away with it. I want him to work at it, to put forth some effort. I know he loves me and he tells me all the time, he shows me all the time, but Valentine's Day is supposed to be special. I've hear people say, Valentine's Day is dumb, just a way for the retail world to make money, ok, it is but I like the concept that it's a time of year to tell your lover that they are important to you. You say it at Christmas, love the family and the Lord and everything you have. At 4th of July, your thankful for freedom and the country we live in, at Easter, your thankful for Christ and the sacrifice he made for us, and on and on... I view Valentine's Day as my day to tell the one person in this world that I love the most how much he means to me, and how I can't live without him, and on and on...
Ok, I've whined enough for today... blog ya later.
