Mountains

Last weekend we went out on the four-wheelers. We went up to Idaho City, it was a awesome day. Not to hot up there, and not a cloud in the sky. We found a good trail, and a creek to play in.
I took this picture, because it reminded me of my Dad. He loved looking at the forest, seeing what there is to see. His birthday would have been last week, he would have been 65 this year. It's hard to believe he's been gone for 8 years already. I still miss him, and wish he could be here with us. I think he would like going out on the four-wheelers and being out on the mountain.

1st Day of School

Well yesterday was the first day of school. It was a big hit. They both loved it... even staying all day long for e. Both of them seem to really like their teachers. I've been able to be out and about and have seen both of them throughout the day. Working at the same school has it's advantages. They are both eager to get homework, and e can't wait to be able to read as well as s. I'll keep you posted on the fun days of school.

King of the Mountain

Here is a very cool picture of T, this is on our last 4-wheeling trip. T climbed all the way up on top of this rock. There must have been a glacier here, because all the rocks are so smooth. Everywhere else around the rocks were so sharp and jagged, but not right there.

4-Wheeling

We took a trip out with the four wheelers today... The first time since my surgery, I'm paying a little now but I have to start somewhere. It was fun, but so hot. This picture of e and T are so cute... she is definitely Daddy's Girl. s is getting so big, he really wants to get his own 4-wheeler.

Lighthouse

Here is a really photo of the Lighthouse that we went and saw on our trip. It is near Tillamook... it was very foggy, we couldn't even see the water but we could hear it. It was so cold that day, I'm wishing for one of those cold days now, it's too hot here.

Cutie!

Here is my little great niece... k. She is almost 4 months old now, last night I watched her for about 4hours. It was kind of a long time for her, she's a nursing baby, and hates the bottle, she would only take it after about 3 hours. She took it cold and everything, I guess by that time she was hungry enough it didn't matter. She really was very good, her Mom hadn't ever really left her for more than an hour before, she was pretty nervous. It was kind of fun having a baby in the house again, but good to send her home to Mom and Dad too.
