Too Much Fun?

OK I admit it, I'm ready to go home. It's been nice and we've had a great time, but I miss T. We've never been apart for so long before, the kids really miss him too. The other night e got to talk to him and she realized how much she missed him, she cried for quite a while. Don't get me wrong I'm so glad and thankful we came, we have done once in a lifetime things.
We have seen the Gulf of Mexico and some of the prettiest land Texas has to offer. Going to SeaWorld was amazing experience, although s still regrets not getting splashed by Shamu... he also didn't get to touch a dolphin. He came so close though, I was to chicken to even put my hand out there.
We also saw Grandpa D, and his wife... They drove down from where they live to spend some time with us. We got to go on a scenic boat ride with them on the riverwalk in downtown San Antiono and go to a really cool themed resturant, the Rainforest. We really like Grandpa's wife-L, it was great to get to spend ome more time with her too and get to know her better. They got s and e some gifts, and we all had good time.
We have some great pictures and memories to take home with us... a long with some new clothes and toys, I hope it will all fit into the suitcase:)

We are going to need a vacation for our vacation!!

We are doing lots of fun things here... we went to the zoo... twice. The zoo was very cool, but to big to take in all at once. Wednesday we went to Fredricksburg to a wildflower seed farm, Grandma loved it, we walked around and looked at the little shops in town.
On Thursday we went to the coast, at Corpus Christi, got pretty sunburned. The wind was blowing so much we didn't feel hot at all, but all the while we were getting burned. The tops of my feet the backs of my legs and my neck are the worst... e and s are good though, we put sunscreen on them. s LOVED the ocean, e liked it alot, but s couldn't get enough of it... there was alot of jellyfish and seashells to look at. The sand was really fine, not like at the Oregon Coast, the sand there is ruff, and hurts your feet. We took a picinic to beach and the Seagulls swarmed us for food, we even saw a flock of Pelicians. On the way home we took a ferry and got to see Dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico.
On Friday we finally got to go to Sea World, Shamu was amazing, we also saw dolphins, and a Buliga whale show. The kids got to ride a few rides and see the Budwieser Clydesdale's... e really wanted to go on a ride on one. The weather got really stormy and the park closed so we didn't get to spend to much time there.. probably good, we're pretty tired. Today we are going to go to the Alamo in downtown, and meet up with T's dad and step-mom. It should be a fun day.
It'll keep you posted on the rest of the trip...
We are having a great time, but the time is going so fast.

We made it!!!

Ok, here we are in Texas, it's hot here. We are having a great time, we when got here we went to TS's favorite BBQ resturant and had brisket. It was very good, they had a huge statue of a cow that was painted with a mermaid on it in the resturant, weird yes. Then we went shopping for awhile and wore Grandma C out. Her arm is still very swollen, and we are worried that it really is broken after all. We are taking her to the doctor tomorrow.
We are planning to go to the zoo tomorrow, TS has a friend that can get us in for free. So we are going to get the wheelchair out and take her to the zoo, e really really wants to see a "pecker bird" that pecks wood... I swear that is what she said. I laughed and laughed. I'll keep you posted on how things go...

We're Going to Texas!!!

We are really going to Texas, in about 9 hours... wahoo!!! We are so ready... we're packed the suitcases in the car and kids in bed. Now I just need to go to bed. Grandma is here and ready to go to, she had a little accident this morning though. She was packing her car to drive here and missed the step off her porch on to the car port. Hit her head on the box she was holding and then on the cement. She was alone and had to walk about 100 yards to Aunt's office for help. Aunt Vickie got her gathered up and to the hospital in McCall. She has about 20 stitches in her forehead and they thought maybe her arm was broken. Arm isn't broken but very swollen, and sore. Then Aunt Vickie brought her on to my house with instructions on how to care for her head. The doctor says she is OK to go to Texas, and she's ready to go. She says she doesn't want me to wait on her, she's fine. My plan in the morning is to go to ticket counter and let them know I need a wheelchair for her, and pushing her everywhere we need to go... hopefully being able to broad the plane first and get us all together. We hopefully will have a uneventful trip, that remains to be seen. I'll keep you posted...

whisper

I have found the best form of discipline in the world... atleast for e. It's putting her on "whisper", she HATES it. She is currently on whisper at this very moment, she talks so loud. I constantly say, "I'm right here, you don't need to yell." I guess she uses up all her quiet at school, because she can't seem to talk in a normal voice at home. If she forgets to whisper while on "Whisper" then she has to be silent for an alotted amount of time, usually 6 minutes. (Because she's 6 years old) I very rarely have to put s on "whisper", if anything he keeps e toned down alittle. TS are your ears ready for e to come visit you:) We are getting pretty excited, we will be in Texas in a week from tomorrow... yahoo!!!! I've started making my lists, and compliling things for the plane ride, to keep the kids busy.
Well blog ya later...

Well the weather was getting warmer... he are s and e playing in the park. But it's cold and rainy again today. It seems like we have been really busy lately, but I'm not sure we got much of anything accomplished. Cub Scouts are going good. I guess... today is another Pack Meeting. s is going to get his Bobcat badge, and they will get there cars for the Pinewood Derby tonight. Big excitement all around. I think T is excited to help e with his derby car, the actual Derby isn't until April, but the making of the car apparentlly is a big deal.

e is back to her normal self... today her class had a musical concert for the parents. T was off work today and yesterday and was able to come, I was able to get out of my duties in my class for a little while and was able to go also. She was so cute, they had actions to do with the songs, and singing. They even danced and played a few songs on some instruments. She was very worried that she would look silly, and not do it right. I thought they were great.

e's better

e is feeling better, here she is at Swan Fall's with her Dad yesterday. They took some friends four wheeling. She is pretty happy to be well again. I think she had fun, and didn't get to cold. s and I were still at school, we didn't get to go.
We went into Boise today and had dinner with my two brothers and family. It was great food and company. But I forgot my camera and didn't take any new pictures of the new baby. She is pretty cute, and very smiley. She giggles when she see someone she knows (Grandma, or Mom) Sooooo, cute. Uncle K was holding her, they are both bald as can be, pretty funny stuff:) She is 5 months old and only weighs ten pounds. e was that big when she was 3 days old... it was fun to hold her and play with her. But it didn't make me want another one, just glad to play with other peoples babies. T and I decided, it's better when they can sleep in, take themselves to the bathroom, and make their own cereal in the morning. Pretty low maintenance, I was very grateful for that while sleeping in this morning.

Doctors!%@!*$#&*

Yes e is still sick, I got home from work and her temp was 101.8. So I took her in, I drove all the way to Star... we didn't have a appointment so we had to wait. She didn't even play with any of toys in the waiting room, she is miserable. They finally call her name and take her back, by then her temp is 102.2. I didn't give her any medicine before we went because I wanted them to realize how sick she is. Her cough is coming from her toes, and she is achy everywhere... the verdict is it's just the flu. Nothing to do but wait it out, no presciption, nothing. AHHHHH!!!!!
Oh, by the way give me 90 dollars. Oh, my gosh!!! I'm ticked... not at e, at the fact that I feel like I wasted my time and money. She has had a fever and cough for 5 days, and the fever just seems to get werse everyday. Was I wrong to take her in? I'm not the type to run to the doctor for every little thing, I felt I gave it the apporpiate time.

I'm sorry to complain but DAMAGE!! 90 dollars... mean while e still feels like crap and no new medicine to relieve her misery. I don't know what would have helped and I know it's not anyone's fault. I just need to vent.

A Lazy Weekend-again...

Well not much is going on here today... e is sick, her temp is 100.8. Atleast she doesn't whin like the male members of our family. She's a total Daddy's girl when she doesn't feel well. This is a picture I took of her last night, we had gone shopping at our favorite 2nd hand store, (we got some great deals!) they were having a grand opening, she got her face painted by a clown. The clown, was a lady I knew and mentioned that she felt warm. That's the first I knew she didn't feel good, she was a trooper though and let me look at all the stuff. We went home and took some medicine, she's pretty much been sleeping on and off ever since. Her fever has been pretty constant, I hate that it's the weekend, I know I should take her in if it doesn't go away soon, but dang it, it costs so much. I'm keeping a close eye on her, hopefully it will pass.
s is fine and uncle A is over for the weekend. He's happy to stay home and play games with him. At school this next week they are having a "Love of Reading Week" it's Dr. Suess' Birthday. He is excited to win some prizes, he loves reading and has been reading the "Hank the Cow Dog" series. They are pretty funny, and perfect for his reading level right now. He's read all the Junie B Jones books, and most of the "Magic Tree House " series. He won't smile when I take his picture, he was sitting next e, singing to her and comforting her. He doesn't like it when she is sick, it makes him worry.
